Welcome to JustRemotechJobs ("the Platform," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Platform to post job listings or apply for jobs, you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Platform, you confirm that:

You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
You are of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Job Postings

2.1 Employer Responsibilities

Employers and recruiters may post job advertisements on the Platform upon payment.
Employers are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of their job postings.
JustRemotechJobs does not verify or guarantee the accuracy of job postings but reserves the right to remove any post that violates these Terms.

2.2 Job Seeker Responsibilities

Job seekers must independently verify job postings before applying or accepting offers.
JustRemotechJobs is not responsible for job offers, employment terms, or interactions between job seekers and employers.

2.3 Prohibited Content

Job postings must not:

Contain false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
Promote illegal activities or discriminatory practices.
Request sensitive personal information (e.g., Social Insurance Numbers, bank details) upfront.

Consequences for Violations:

Job postings violating these Terms may be removed without a refund.
Employers engaging in fraudulent activities may be banned from the Platform.

3. Payments and Refund Policy

3.1 Payment Processing and Records

All payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors (such as Stripe).
We maintain records of transactions processed through our Platform, including payment amounts, methods, and status.
We may store payment identifiers (such as transaction IDs) for record-keeping purposes.

3.2 Non-Refundable Payments

Payments for job postings are non-refundable, except in the following cases:

A job posting fails to publish due to a technical issue caused by JustRemotechJobs.
An accidental duplicate charge occurs for the same job posting.

3.3 Refund Requests

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of payment to contact@justremotechjobs.com, including transaction and job posting details.
Editing or removing a job posting does not qualify for a refund.
Approved refunds will be processed within 15 business days.
Refunds, when applicable, will be processed to the original payment method used for the transaction.

3.4 Dispute Resolution

JustRemotechJobs reserves the right to make the final decision on all refund disputes.
Any disputes regarding transactions must be submitted within 30 days of the transaction date.

4. Job Applications

Job seekers may apply directly to jobs posted on the Platform.
JustRemotechJobs does not:
Guarantee job availability or legitimacy.
Verify employer information.
Facilitate employment contracts or negotiations.

5. External Links

The Platform may include links to third-party websites.
JustRemotechJobs is not responsible for the content, security, or privacy policies of third-party sites.
Use of external links is at your own risk.

6. User Conduct

Users must not:

Use the Platform for illegal activities.
Post fraudulent or misleading job listings.
Attempt to collect sensitive personal or financial information from job seekers.
Engage in harassment, spam, or unauthorized data scraping.

Violations may result in:

Immediate removal of content without notice.
Ban from using the Platform.
Legal action if applicable.

7. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, including text, graphics, and software, belongs to JustRemotechJobs or its licensors and is protected under intellectual property laws.
Users may not reproduce, modify, or distribute Platform content without written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
JustRemotechJobs does not guarantee:
The accuracy or reliability of job postings.
Uninterrupted or error-free Platform operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

JustRemotechJobs is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform.
Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid by the user (if any) for the service.

10. Changes to Terms

JustRemotechJobs may update these Terms at any time without prior notice.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and applicable Canadian laws.
Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Quebec.
